Non-P2-Sponsored Projects
Lung Ultrasound for Antibiotic Stewardship in Community-Acquired Pneumonia: A Randomized Clinical Trial (LUSCAP trial) - Pneumonia remains a leading cause of childhood morbidity and mortality. This randomized multi-center clinical trial evaluates whether lung POCUS can reduce antibiotic prescriptions compared to standard care in pediatric patients ages 3-10 years.
Research Impact: Published Studies Shaping Clinical Practice
Our completed studies represent significant contributions to the field of pediatric POCUS, driving evidence-based practice and improving patient care through rigorous research and collaborative efforts.
P2 Research Oversight Committee (P2 ROC)
The P2 Research Oversight Committee is comprised of nationally recognized experts in multicenter research who are dedicated to advancing ultrasound science. We provide seed funding to help cover initial project costs, while our comprehensive mentorship and guidance support investigators from study conception through final publication, including assistance in securing larger grant opportunities.
